Materials
Rug or craft yarn: 3 oz. White
4-Ply Worsted Weight yarn: small amounts of red, rose and black
Crochet Hook size: I / 5.5mm

Approx. 8” diameter

HEAD (make 2)

Starting at center with white, ch 4, join with sl st to form ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join to top of ch-3.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same st, 2 dc in ea st around, join.
Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc in same st, dc in next st, *2 dc in next st, dc in next st, rep from * around, join.
Rnd 4: Ch 3, dc in same st, *dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st, rep from * around, join. (48 sts)
Rnd 5: Ch 3, dc in same st, *dc in next 3 sts, 2 dc in next st, rep from * around, join and fasten off. (60 sts)

FINISHING

Holding front and back of head together with wrong sides facing, working through both thicknesses with white: hand stitch head together leaving 5” unworked for opening at top. Sc around opening.
Face: With white, make five (5) 2 1/2” pompoms; with black make one (1) 1” pompom.
Fur Trim: Sew 3 white pompoms between Rnds 4 & 5 at center top of head. See photo for placement.
Ears: Sew white pompoms at sides of face.
Nose: Sew black pompom in center of circle.
Mouth: With rose, embroider 1 1/2” line between Rnds 3 & 4 below nose.
Eyes: Glue or sew on eyes, as shown.
Bows (make 2): With red, ch 60, fasten off. Tie in bow shape. Sew onto Rnd 5 between ears.
Tail: With 2 strands of white held together as one: ch 7, fasten off. With white, make one (1) 1” pompom. Sew pompom to one end of ch-7. Sew other end to back of head.
Handle: With 2 strands of white held together as one: ch 31, fasten off. Working through both back and front of head: tie one end to each end of top opening.
Neck: Attach white at bottom of purse in 18th st from end of top opening, working through both thicknesses: ch 3, dc in same st, dc in next 9 sts, 2 dc in next st, fasten off.
